Although I have over 600,000 YouTube subscribers, I choose to cover copyrighted music which means I am unable to make any money from the majority of my drum covers because the money goes to the original artist/labels.
In fact, I've actually missed out on at least ยฃ23,000 / $30,000 worth of YouTube money in total because of copyright.
